MEGA BLOCK o­n  9.6.2013


Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 9.6.2013: -

ON DN FAST LINE BETWEEN MATUNGA  AND MULUND STATIONS FROM 10.15 AM TO 3.15 PM.

DN fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 9.37 am to 2.51 pm will be diverted o­n DN slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting at all stations from Sion to Mulund.
      
UP fast line services leaving Thane station from 10.50 am to 3.36 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts during the block period.

DN Mail/Express trains will be diverted o­n DN slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations during the block period.

ON UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN KURLA AND MANKHURD STATIONS
FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM.

DN Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from Mumbai CST at 10.23 am to 3.01 pm and UP Harbour line services from Panvel/ Belapur leaving Panvel at 10.20 am and leaving Belapur at 3.04 pm will remain suspended.

All UP and DN services between Mankhurd and Kurla  will remain suspended during the block period o­n 9.6.2013.


For the benefit of passengers 8 special local trains will run via Main Line/Trans Harbour line from CSTM to Panvel halting at Masjid, Sandhurst Road, Byculla, Dadar, Kurla, Thane and between Thane and Panvel stopping at all stations during the block period.

Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual.
      
Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.

Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
