SCR dispatches coaches to Haridwar – From Delhi to Secunderabad to clear stranded pilgrims:

SCR dispatches coaches to Haridwar; And a Special train being run and extra coaches attached on trains from Delhi to Secunderabad to clear stranded pilgrims

South Central Railway has dispatched a special empty rake consisting of 15 coaches (6 Sleeper class; 2 AC III tier; 5 General Second class and 2 General Second class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches) from Secunderabad to Haridwar today i.e. 21th June 2013. It is part of the efforts of Railways to attach extra coaches/operate special trains  for clearing the pilgrims stranded due to floods in Uttarakhand back to their destinations from railway stations in Uttarakhand region/ New Delhi.

Senior Officials of South Central Railway are in close liaison with Railway Board and Northern Railway authorities to coordinate the movement of special trains/attaching extra coaches o­n trains from Northern region towards Andhra Pradesh to cater to the needs of the stranded pilgrims.

A Special train is being run to Secunderabad from Delhi tonight to clear the passengers bound to Andhra Pradesh. This special train leaves Delhi Nizamuddin at 21:30 hrs. of today i.e., 21st June, 2013 and is expected to arrive Secunderabad o­n23rd June, 2013.In addition, extra coaches are also being attached to Dakshin Express and Duronto Express leaving Delhi today to Secunderabad to clear the extra rush of passengers.

MORE SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS

For the convenience of rail passengers during Summer season, Railways have decided to run below mentioned Special Trains as per the  following programme:-

Ludhiana-Saharsa-Ambala Cantt. Express Special Train (Bi-Weekly)

The 04504 Ludhiana-Saharsa (Bi-Weekly) Summer Special Express train will depart from Ludhianaat 10:25 a.m. from 27.05.2013 to 28.06.2013 (10 trips) o­n every Monday & Friday to reach Saharsa at 4:10 p.m. the next day.  In the return direction, the 04503 Saharsa-Ambala Cantt. (Bi-Weekly) Summer Special Express train will depart from Saharsa at 08:05 p.m. from 28.05.2013 to 29.06.2013 (10 trips) o­n every Tuesday  & Saturday to reach Ambala Cantt.  at 11:30 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of twelve General Second Class coaches and two brake-cum-Luggage Vans, the 04504 Ludhiana-Saharsa Summer Special Express train will stop at Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt., Jagadari, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Mankapur, Basti, Khalilabad, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Sewan, Chhapra, Sonepur, Hajipur, Muzzafarpur, Samastipur, Ruseraghat, Hasanpur Road, Khagria and Mansi Station  stations. While its return service i.e. the 04503 Saharsa-Ambala Cantt Summer Special Express train will short terminate at Ambala Cantt station o­nly.

New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi AC Superfast Express Special Train (nominated days)

The 04040 New Delhi-Patna AC Superfast Express Special train will depart from New Delhi at 02:35 p.m. o­n 30/5, 31/05, 02/06, 03/06, 05/06, 06/06, 08/06, 09/06, 11/06 and 12/06/13 (ten trips) to reach Patnaat 05:00 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction, the 04039 Patna-New Delhi AC Superfast Express Special  train will depart from Patna at 12:15 p.m. o­n 31/5, 01/06, 03/06, 04/06, 06/06, 07/06, 09/06, 10/06, 12/06 and 13/06/13 (ten trips) to reach New Delhi  at 04:00 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of o­ne first AC, four A.C.2 Tier, seven A.C. 3 Tier coaches the 04040/04039 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi AC Superfast Express  Special Express train will stop at Ghaziabad, Chipiana Buzurg, Kanpur, Allahabad, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations enroute in both directions.

Chandigarh-Varanasi-Chandigarh Express Special Train (Thrice a Week)

The 04506 Chandigarh-Varanasi Express Special train will depart from Chandigarh at 11:15 p.m. o­n Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 03.06.2103 to 29.03.2013  (twelve trips) to reach Varanasi  at 05:30 p.m. the next day.  In the return direction, The 04505 Varanasi –Chandigarh  Express Special train will depart from Varanasi at 09:10  p.m. o­n Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 04.06.2103 to 30.03.2013  (twelve trips) to reach Chandigarh at 02:30 p.m.  the next day.

Consisting of nine Sleeper Class, seven General Second Class coaches and two brake-cum-luggage vans the 04506/04505 Chandigarh-Varanasi-Chandigarh Express Special  train will stop at Ambala Cantt., Jagadhari, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations enroute in both directions.

Two New Trains Viz., Secunderabad-Shalimar A/C Weekly Superfast Express & Kacheguda-Madurai Weekly Express to be Flagged off on 28th May, 2013 from Secunderabad Railway Station.

Shri Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways and Shri M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Secunderabad will flag off two new Trains viz., Train No. 12774/12773 Secunderabad-Shalimar (Kolkata) Air Conditioned Weekly Superfast Express and Train No.  17615 / 17616  Kacheguda-Madurai Weekly Express (via. remote link)  at 11 00 hrs o­n 28 May,2013 (Tuesday) at Platform No.10, Bhioguda side, Secunderabad Railway Station. These trains will be flagged off in fulfilment of the announcements made in the Railway Budget 2012.

Hon’ble Public representatives concerned, dignitaries and Senior Railway Officials will participate in the function.

SCR To Run 70 Special Trains Between Various Destinations During June and July, 2013

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway willrun the following  70 Special Trainsbetween various destinations during the months ofJune and July, 2013 as per the following schedules;-

1)Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Trains (10 Services)

Train No. 07104 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special will depart Secunderabad at 21 00 hrs o­n Sundays ie., on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23th and 30th June, 2013and arriveVisakhapatnamat 08 50 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07103 Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad Special will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs o­n Mondays ie. o­n 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th June and 1st July, 2013 and arrive Secunderabad at 08 25 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada Stations. These special trainswillhave 18 Coaches viz.,one AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

2) Machilipatnam-Secunderabad-Machilipatanam SpecialTrains ( 10 services)

Train No.07050 Secunderabad-Machilipatnam Special will depart Secunderabad at 06 30 hrs o­n Sundays ie, o­n 2nd , 9th, 16th, 23th and 30th June, 2013and arrive Machilipatnam at 14 35 hrs o­n the same day. In return direction, Train No. 07049 Machilipatnam-Secunderabad Specialwill depart Machilipatnam at 21 30 hrs o­n Sundays ie., o­n 2nd , 9th, 16th, 23th and 30th June, 2013 andarrive Secunderabad at 05 55 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Chilakalapudi, Pedana, Kavutaram, Gudlavalleru, Gudiwada, Vijayawada, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Kazipet Stations. These trains will consists 17 Coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six general Second Class, two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

3)Secunderabad-Nagarsol-Secunderabad Special Trains ( 10 services)

Train No. 07119 Secunderabad-Nagarsol Summer Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 20 35 hrs o­n 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, June, 2013 (Sundays) and arrive Nagarsol at 09 00 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07120 Nagarsol - Secunderabad Summer Special Train will depart Nagarsol at 10 30 o­n 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th June, and 1st July, 2013 (Mondays) and arrive Secunderabad at 23 30 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these specials trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Hazur Sahib Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna and Aurangabad Stations. These special trains will have 20 Coaches viz., Two AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, Twelve Sleeper Class, three General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

4)Hyderabad-Renigunta-Hyderabad Trains Specials ( 8 Services)

Train No. 07429 Hyderabad-Renigunta Special trains will depart Hyderabad at 07 00 hrs o­n 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June 2013 (Thursdays)and arrive Renigunta at 20 30 hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 07430 Renigunta - HyderabadSpecial train will depart Renigunta at 22 00 hrs o­n6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June 2013 (Thursdays)and arrive Hyderabad at 12 00 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop Lingampalli, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Sedam, Malkhaid, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Kondapur, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah and Rajampet Stations. Train No. 07003 Hyderabad - KotaSpecial Train will depart Hyderabad at 10 15 hrs o­n Tuesdays ie., o­n 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th June, 2013 and arrive Kota at 13 30 hrs o­n the next day.In the return direction, Train No.07004 Kota-HyderabadSpecial train will depart Kota at 17 10 hrs o­n Wednesdays ie., o­n 5th, 12th, 19thand 26th June, 2013 and arrive Hyderabad at 18 45 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Secunderabad, Jangaon, Kazipet, Jammikunta, Ramgundam, Sirpurkagaznagar, Balharsha, Chandrapur, Sevagram, Nagpur, Itarsi, Habibganj, Bhopal, Bairagarh, Seahore, Shujalpur, Bercha, Ujjain, Nagda, Chaumehla, Shamgarh, Bhawanimandi and Ramganjmandi Stations. These trains will have 17 coaches viz., o­ne First AC cum AC II Tier, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

6) Vijayawada-Lingampalli-Vijayawada Special Trains (8 Services)

Train No. 07207 Vijayawada-Lingampalli Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 22 00 hrs o­n 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June,2013 (Thursdays)andarriveLingampalli at 05 30 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07208 Lingampalli-VijayawadaSpecial train will depart Lingampalli at 22 00 hrs o­n 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th June, 2013 (Fridays) and arrive Vijayawada at 05 30 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet and Secunderabad Stations. These trains will have 15 Coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, five general Second Class, two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.


7) Guntur-Tirupati-Guntur Special Trains ( 8 services)

Train No. 07230 Tirupati-Guntur Special train will depart Tirupati at 09 00 hrs o­n 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th June, 2013 (Fridays) and arrive Guntur at 18 00 hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 07229 Guntur-Tirupati Special train will depart Guntur at 21 30 hrs on 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th June, 2013 (Fridays) and arrive Tirupati at 05 50 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Venkatagiri, Gudur, Nellore, Kavali, o­ngole, Chirala, Bapatla and Tenali Stations. These special trains will have 17 Coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­neAC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Vans.


8) Aurangabad-Tirupati-AurangabadSpecial Trains ( 8 services)

Train No. 07405 Aurangabad-Tirupati Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 18 40 hrs on 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th June, 2013 (Fridays)and arrive Tirupati at 19 00 hrs o­n the next day.  In the return direction, Train No.07406 Tirupati-Aurangabad Special train will depart Tirupati at 21 15 hrs o­n 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29thJune, 2013 (Saturday) and arrive Aurangabad at 20 30 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudhked, Basar, Nizambad, Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali,Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti and Renigunta
Stations.  These trains will consist 15 Coaches viz., o­ne AC Three Tier, six Sleeper Class, six general Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

BANGALORE: Railways will introduce special trains between Patna and Bangalore to clear the extra rush of passengers. Train No. 06513 Bangalore City - Patna Weekly Express Special will leave Bangalore City at 10.10am on Tuesdays and reach Patna at 9.50am. Train No. 06514 Patna-Bangalore City Weekly Express Special will leave Patna at 08.20pm on Thursdays and reaches Bangalore City at 9pm on Saturdays.The first service from Bangalore commences on May 21 and the last service will be on May 25. The first service from Patna will be on May 23 and the last service on May 27. It will have 17 general second class coaches and two second-class cum-luggage vans.

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE

Train No.17307 / 17308 Bangalore City - Bagalkot - Bangalore City Basava Express has started getting a temporary halt at Nalwar station for six months from May 15 on an experimental basis.
